Assistant Manager Taxation
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Accounts & Finance team as an Assistant Manager Taxation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in tax compliance, regulatory filings, and ensuring adherence to financial and taxation laws.
Key Responsibilities :
- •            Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, including income tax, sales tax and withholding tax regulations.
- •            Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, statements, and related documentation.
- •            Handle tax assessments, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities to resolve queries and disputes.
- •            Conduct tax planning to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks.
- •            Ensure timely deposit of tax liabilities and accurate reconciliation of tax records.
- •            Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates in company policies.
- •            Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies for taxation matters.
- •            Provide tax-related guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- •            Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of tax-related transactions in financial statements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- •            Education: ACCA, Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- •            Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably in a Feed or manufacturing industry.
- •            Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s tax laws, FBR regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- •            Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- •            Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
